Villa Tamarindo is located high upon a lush mountain side in picturesque St. John, a sleepy island only 8 miles long.

With 60% of its land area comprising a pristine, jeweled national park, St. John is as far away as you can get from civilization, but still be just a short distance from exotic boutique shopping.

With its private pool, fully stocked kitchen, and large patio area, the villa has everything you need to relax, unwind, and get away from it all. The beautifully maintained gardens on the estate are perfect for strolling, or for a more vigorous hike, head into the National Park that is adjacent to the villa. Trails will lead you to a beautiful overlook or to the beaches on the north shore. The villa’s front deck also offers great views of the sea and St. Croix in the distance.


Villa Tamarindo


Villa Tamarindo is located just outside of Cruz Bay, St. John. It is situated on a tall hill, with cascading views of emerald green hills and the turquoise ocean in the distance.

Our St. John villa is the perfect Caribbean escape for one or two couples, or a family.

To make your stay with us even run smoother, we offer pickup at St John ferry by our owner or villa manager.

Front Deck & Outdoor Dining Area

Our front deck offers beautiful vistas of the Caribbean Sea all the way out to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Here you can relax in the sun or dine in the shade while enjoying the cool breeze and take in the views of St. John and beyond.

The Great Room

Our villa has a great room with two adjoining suites each with en suite bathroom and private access to the spacious deck. Both suites have individually controlled air conditioning. The great room offers expansive views of Southwest St John and the Caribbean Sea. We have satellite TV DVD/VCR and IPOD ready CD stereo system as well as a wireless internet connection.

The Kitchen & Bar

There is a fully stocked kitchen with a bar seating area. We welcome you to Villa Tamarindo with basic provisions for your first night's stay.

Full Kitchen including Fridge/Ice maker, Dishwasher, Gas range, Microwave and Small Appliances.

The Bedroom Suites

Each suite has a king size bed and a walk through closet leading into the bath. A door leading on to the deck and plenty of windows will let in the constant cooling breeze at our location as well as the vistas of the Caribbean Sea and our tropical gardens.

King size beds, two twins available on request. All linens towels, and beach towels are provided as well as fine bath products and hair dryers. A safe is available.


 

The Pool Deck and Back Patio

The pool deck is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and the native forest of the National Park. Lounge in the sun on a comfortable deck chair or dine al fresco in the shade of the Palapa. Turn it into a party by listening to your own music via connecting your ipod to our ipod-ready stereo. Then take it outside with the outdoor speakers on the pool deck!

Also on the estate is a bocce court and seating area. The property is adjacent to the Virgin Islands National Park giving you direct access to hiking trails. You could take an evening stroll to a nearby overlook or a vigorous hike to the north shore beaches.

The Garden Apartment

The estate now offers a garden apartment accessible from the main parking area. The apartment has a full kitchen, bath, living room, breakfast nook and patio seating area. The bedroom has a queen bed and a futon in the living area can be converted into another king bed. The apartment is offered as an additional suite for up to two guests with the main house or on its own as a separate unit whereas a separate parking area and entrance is provided.
